Curves in Constantine Bay
A multifunctional space – where family life and football could happily co-exist – was a key part of the brief in this large coastal garden, just moments from the beach. Crisp Trebarwith slate walls, barefoot-friendly grey limestone paving, and planks of locally sourced granite compliment the interior design and architecture by Harrison Sutton Architects. Dwarf pines, palms and large drifts of perennials, including Libertia, Echinops (globe thistle) and Eryngium (sea holly) meander throughout, and honour the coastal location. An irrigation system fed from an onsite borehole helped the plants establish on what is a very sandy soil and a very exposed spot. Hard landscape and groundworks by Terry Harris & Sons. Soft landscape & planting completed internally.
Project completed in summer 2022.

What the client said:
"Polly and Matt completely transformed our garden. They listened carefully to all our initial thoughts and the way we wanted to use the garden, and came up with a vision which surpassed our expectations.
We are delighted with both the hard landscaping design and the planting. They are easy to work with, have very strong attention to detail and communicate every step of the way.”
