Poolside in Rock

Family friendly was key to the brief with this large coastal garden in Rock overlooking the Camel Estuary. An outdoor kitchen from Konig, swimming pool and hot tub supplied by Cornwall Pools, large limestone terraces for lounging and formal lawns for child’s-play all tick the necessary boxes. The view was cherished by our clients, so the design was kept on the down low; just three textured pots from Torc Pots are the clue to where the garden stops and the landscape starts. The planting features Cornish favourites including Libertia, Cordyline, Echium, Pittosporum and Agapanthus which together bring a touch of the sub-tropical but importantly all were chosen to cope with the strong salt laden winds, and rabbits! Project completed in Summer 2025.
